You know how awesome sequencers like Flow are for your Ableton Live music production, right? They can spice up your music with endless variations of beats, chords, melodies, basslines, and more. But wouldn't it be great if you could sync them with your clips in Session View mode?

That's where Flip / Turn come in. They are two little devices that automatically mute any input when no clips are active in the Session View.

Flip / Turn

Flip / Turn are super easy to use. Just put them after your sequencers in the MIDI or audio rack. They will monitor the clip status of their track, and mute the input signal accordingly.

Flip / Turn are free to download and use, and they are compatible with any sequencer that produces MIDI or audio signals. They are especially awesome with Flow, our powerful generative MIDI sequencer that creates endless variations of beats, chords, melodies, and more.

We hope you enjoy Flip / Turn and Flow as much as we do, and we can't wait to hear what you create with them.

Happy music making! 🎶

A New Way Of Making Generative Music

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new product, Flow, a generative, non-linear MIDI sequencer for Ableton Live that lets you create music in a fresh and exciting way.

Flow

Flow is more than just a sequencer. It is a new way of making music that is generative and organic, and that lets you break free from the constraints of linear sequencing, such as fixed patterns, rigid structures, and repetitive loops.

With Flow, you can define simple steps and rules that govern how the music will change over time, leading to the emergence of complex behaviors and patterns. This enables you to create music that is more dynamic and unpredictable, but also coherent and harmonious; music that is inspired by your own preferences and tastes, but also opens up new horizons.

How does it work?

Flow uses a special concept called parallel hierarchical probabilistic state machine. State machines are used in many fields, such as engineering, computer science, philosophy, biology, linguistics, and more, to model systems that can be in different states and transition between them. By applying this concept to music making domain, Flow allows you to create music that is always changing and evolving. This may sound complicated, but it's actually very simple and powerful, and we have explained everything in detail in our documentation, with easy to follow tutorials. Be sure to check it out.

You can download the demo version or purchase the full product on our website here, where you can also find more information and examples of what you can do with it.

We hope you enjoy using Flow as much as we enjoyed creating it. We can't wait to hear what kind of music you will create with Flow.

If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you.

Happy flowing! 😊
